Telkom Device Insurance is an optional Value Added Service offered to all Telkom customers with devices purchased directly from Telkom. Telkom Device Insurance is excluded from any credit vetting checks or calculations.

Benefits of Device Insurance

Theft:
This means that the insured item must have been stolen without the prior knowledge of the customer and by another party.

Loss:
This means that the client must have accidentally lost the device.

Liquid Damage:
This means that the customer’s insured item must have been damaged as a result of a sudden and unforeseeable ingress of fluid. The occurrence of such liquid damage however must have happened accidentally.

Accidental Physical Damage:
This means that a customer’s insured item must have been physically damaged by any incident that occurred suddenly, without intent from the customer, furthermore, the incident must also have been unforeseen, and accidental.

What happens when I claim?

Your claim will be finalised within 7 days from the date that you provide the administrator with the documentation reasonably required to process your claim. Our claims process enables you to continue enjoying your Telkom services.
